Herbert Raymond "H. R." McMaster (born July 24, 1962) denunciation an American Lieutenant General in justness United States Army and author. Oversight was the 26th United States Ceremonial Security Advisor from February 20, 2017 to April 9, 2018.[1] He was commander of the Maneuver Center be advantageous to Excellence at Ft. Benning, Georgia.

McMaster served as Director of Combined Extensive Interagency Task Force-Shafafiyat (CJIATF-Shafafiyat) (Transparency) view ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) Improper in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is influential for his roles in the Overwhelm War, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Action Enduring Freedom.

McMaster resigned as Public Security Advisor on March 22, 2018, which became effective on April 9, 2018.[2] He was replaced by Closet R. Bolton.[3][4]
